If you¡¯ve already searched all the stores or just want something unique, you might want to design your own prom dress.
There are several steps you¡¯ll need to follow to make your own prom dress.
The Design
The first step is to come up with an actual design for your dress. Should you choose

The Material

For example, silk can be very hard to sew and taffeta nearly impossible for a beginner. Be sure to consider the skill level of your seamstress or yourself when choosing the material. If necessary, take the seamstress to the material store with you. If you are hiring a seamstress from a local tailor, then you should consult with them on which materials they are used to working with and if there are any that create additional surcharges and how much.
The Color
Although it is tempting to choose a color that is unusual, remember that you will have to match shoes, jewelry ad purse to the dress. That
